CONCEPT
The design brings the living room, dining area and kitchen together, while providing separate places for relaxation, play and privacy. Simplicity, balanced forms and a consistent material palette connect the different rooms without giving every space the same function.
DETAILS
Natural textures: Timber and other natural materials provide warmth and a visual connection to the surrounding landscape. The palette supports the interior's quiet character.
Light and views: Panoramic windows bring daylight into the rooms and keep the ocean in view. Furniture and shared living spaces are considered in relation to this connection with the outdoors.
Colour and form: Soft blues, muted greens and gentle earth tones shape the colour palette. Balanced forms and considered symmetry help create continuity between the rooms.
Shared and private spaces: The programme includes a family room and home theatre alongside the main living area. Children's bedrooms share a play area, while the guest room and principal suite occupy a separate part of the layout.
